SHUN THUGGERY AND EMBRACE PEACE; A PASSIONATE APPEAL FROM TEAM SECURE’24.
As the Local Government Election is fast approaching in Plateau state and the #EndBadGovernanceNow protest climaxes, the PDP Chairmanship hopeful of Jos East Local Government Area and leader of Secure’24, Amos Kaze Izang is encouraging the peace loving youths of Jos East LGA, Plateau state and the country at large to effectively partake more in the leadership and governing processes in all tiers of government.
We do have all it takes to build our dear Local Government to the satisfaction of all by galvanizing our efforts towards the enhancement of our civic responsibility when it matters most.
I want to remind the teeming youths that we are the most accessible asset of this country as we constitute the larger percentage of the country’s Population, which can be harnessed for the good and prosperity of our nation.
We should use this numerical strength to engage ourselves more through regular interface and dialogue to demand accountability and transparency amongst ourselves and the constituted authorities, instead of being used either as willing tools for bigotry or as agents of mass destruction of both our personal and public heritage.
Let’s continue to be patriotic youths as always because the greatest secrets in life are always hidden in the most unlikely places.
