SIGHT OF RELIEF: AS IMPLEMENTATION COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN JOS EAST LGC, HON. MARKUS, FLAGS OFF DISTRIBUTION OF RELIEF ITEMS FOR FLOOD VICTIMS BY NEMA AND SEMA INTERVENTION, ACROSS THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA

Honorable Markus Useini Nyam JP, the distinguished Transition Implementation Committee Chairman of Jos East Local Government Council, has officially flagged off the distribution of relief items for victims of the unfortunate floods that resulted from heavy rainfall in Jos East LGA.

The intervention of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) is indeed timely and laudable, and Honorable Markus has expressed sincere appreciation for their efforts in coming to the aid of his people during this challenging moment.

In the words of Honorable Markus, “I heartily thank NEMA and SEMA for showing such a kind gesture to my people who have been adversely affected by the devastating floods. Your timely intervention has brought succor to the victims of this disaster, and we are grateful for your concern and support at this difficult time.”

Furthermore, Honorable Markus charged the beneficiaries of these relief items to make judicious use of them, emphasizing that his government remains committed to ensuring the welfare and wellbeing of the people and will continue to provide assistance as necessary.

In response to the chairman’s words of encouragement, Mrs Talatu, on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to Honorable Markus for his immediate response and swift action towards alleviating the suffering of the flood victims. She also wished him more wisdom and grace as he leads the administration of the local government council to greater heights.

Mrs Talatu further comments the quick response of Honorable Markus Useini Nyam JP and his team in addressing the urgent and pressing needs of the flood victims in Jos East LGA. Their efforts demonstrate exemplary leadership, compassion, and a commitment to the people they serve. May this noble gesture inspire other political leaders to emulate their actions and ensure that the welfare and wellbeing of the people remain top priority.
