SIGHT OF RELIEF: AS IMPLEMENTATION COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN JOS EAST LGC, HON. MARKUS, FLAGS OFF DISTRIBUTION OF RELIEF ITEMS FOR FLOOD VICTIMS BY NEMA AND SEMA INTERVENTION, ACROSS THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA
Honorable Markus Useini Nyam JP, the distinguished Transition Implementation Committee Chairman of Jos East Local Government Council, has officially flagged off the distribution of relief items for victims of the unfortunate floods that resulted from heavy rainfall in Jos East LGA.
The intervention of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) is indeed timely and laudable, and Honorable Markus has expressed sincere appreciation for their efforts in coming to the aid of his people during this challenging moment.
In the words of Honorable Markus, “I heartily thank NEMA and SEMA for showing such a kind gesture to my people who have been adversely affected by the devastating floods. Your timely intervention has brought succor to the victims of this disaster, and we are grateful for your concern and support at this difficult time.”
