Staff of Office Presentation: New Owa of Oke Ako Expresses Appreciation to Governor BAO
The newly installed Owa of Oke Ako in Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State, HRM Oba Bamidele Olanrewaju Oni, has expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO), for approving his appointment and presenting him with the staff and instruments of office as the Owa of Oke Ako.
Oba Oni, while expressing his gratitude, promised not to betray the trust reposed in him, assuring the people of Oke Ako that he would work diligently for the development and progress of the community.
He also pledged to attract foreign investors to Oke Ako and its environs in order to boost economic activities, create opportunities and improve the well-being of the people.
He said, “I equally want to use this medium to express my appreciation to the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Monisade Afuye; the Oke Ako Kingmakers and Chiefs; as well as all my family members and the entire sons and daughters of Oke Ako. To you all, I say a very big thank you, and may God bless you.”
The traditional ruler also expressed appreciation to his Olori, Mrs. Omotayo Teresa Bamidele Oni, for her unwavering support, prayers and encouragement throughout the process.
Oba Oni assured the people of Oke Ako that his reign would be anchored on peace, unity, development and inclusive leadership, while calling on all stakeholders to join hands with him in moving the community forward.
