Supreme Court Verdict: Dr Joel Ugbedeojo Ebute Congratulates Governor Ododo Usman

An illustrious son of Olamaboro Local Government Area, Dr Joel Ugbedeojo Ebute has congratulated His Excellency Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on his victory at the apex court.

In a message signed and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, describing the victory as the affirmation of the will of the people.

He said the Supreme Court judgment shows that sectional sentiments do not prevail over factual facts and genuine truth that holds dear the people’s trust, stressing that the outcome of the judgment was about the collective interest and good of the people of Kogi state, rather than opposition personal interests.

Dr Joel emphasised the need for unity and cooperation in moving the state forward, adding that the apex court’s decision is only but a proof to the democratic process and the rule of law.

He enjoined Kogites, especially the opposition camps to put aside their differences, and join hands to build Kogi state to a greater height.

“The time for politics is over, it’s time to unite and work together for the common good of our dear state.”
