Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas Lauds Military Cooperation, Seeks Additional Security Presence

Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has commended the Nigerian Army for their cooperation and efforts in maintaining security within the state.

The commendation came during a courtesy visit from Major General Emeka Onumajuru, Chief of Defence Operations, at the TY Danjuma House in Jalingo.

During their meeting, Governor Kefas noted a significant reduction in insecurity since the current administration took office, attributing this success to the military’s effective operations.

He emphasized that security remains a top priority for the state government as it works to develop its economy.

Governor Kefas also requested the establishment of additional platoons in Taraba State to further strengthen security measures and ensure the safety of lives and property.

This move aims to create a more conducive environment for economic growth and development, underscoring the shared commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the region.
