TETFund Executive Secretary, Arc Sonny Echono, Meets COAS Lt. Gen. Waidi at Army Headquarters
The Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, Arc. Sonny Echono, PhD, FNIA, OON, has paid a strategic visit to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Waidi, at Army Headquarters in Abuja.
The visit forms part of Echono’s ongoing engagements with top brass in Nigeria’s defence and security sector. He was received at Army Headquarters by the COAS as both leaders discussed areas of collaboration between TETFund and the Nigerian Army.
The meeting is expected to strengthen partnerships aimed at advancing research, training, and infrastructural development within military institutions, in line with TETFund’s mandate to support tertiary education and research nationwide.
