The prestigious Legend Club of Okunland continues to rise in prominence as it played a distinguished role in the grand celebration marking the one-year coronation anniversary of its Chairman, Board of Trustee (BOT), His Royal Majesty, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun, the Elulu of Mopa and Chairman of the Mopamuro Local Government Traditional Council, Kogi State
The anniversary ceremony, which drew dignitaries from across the Yoruba-speaking world and beyond, served as a powerful platform to spotlight the cultural unity and rising influence of Okunland, the Yoruba-speaking region of Kogi State.
Leading the Legend Club of Okunland delegation was its esteemed President, Legend Dr. Engr. Olubiyo Femi, joined by other notable members including Legend Chief Mrs. Iyabode Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria. Together, they were graciously received and honored by a host of revered traditional rulers.
In a symbolic and spiritually significant moment, the Legend Club of Okunland received royal blessings from the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II) a foremost traditional ruler and custodian of Yoruba heritage. These blessings signify the club’s rising status and its vital role in fostering cultural heritage, leadership, and unity within Okunland and the greater Yoruba nation.
