This is the attributes of Hon. Elijah Azi Itsegok, A charismatic Leader.

Born in Nukpis Village in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau state.

Azi is a Man of inspiration, generosity and a team player.

His dexterity and hardworking from his childhood, has tremendously impacted positively to his community and the society at large.

He has served his Community in different capacities which includes the Youth Chairman of Nukpis Village for several years and his leadership attracted meaningful development to the entire community and beyond,his zeal and quest to serve Humanity.

He was elected as the Ex officio of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in Jos North Local Government Area and served his tenure faithfully and meritoriously.

In view of his track records and successes recorded so far,the newly registered political party then, Action Democratic Party (ADP) lobbied him to their fold and elected him as their pioneer Chairman of Jos North LGA and after his tenure.

He returned to his Original Political Party the PDP, after setting the platform for the ADP which he was required to do.

While in PDP, Azi contested for the Member of the Plateau State House of Assembly to represent Jos North Constituency in 2023 General Election and loss gallantly to Hon. Bashir Lawandi Dati, the Current Commissioner for Water resources who clinched the ticket.

As a man of determination and humility, Hon. Itsegok Azi was appointed as the Director General of Hon. Bashir Dati’s Campaign organization and he led the campaign with all sincerity as they canvassed for votes in all the nooks and crannies of the Constituency. Though they didn’t win the election.

Hon.Bashir Dati was appointed as the Commissioner while Hon. Azi Elijah later Elected as the PDP Chairman of Jos North Local Government Area, having defeated his opponent with wide margin.

The Victory of the Chairman was widely celebrated in the locality and beyond.

He is well known with philanthropic gesture and empathy.

The Man Azi Itsegok, is a household name on the Plateau.

His Political trajectory has inspired so many Youths in the state, he is the Youngest among all the 17 local Government PDP Chairmen and his style of leadership and the feat he has recorded so far is a motivation to the plethora of Youths in the state and beyond.

Grassroots Politicking is what you cannot take away from him,no wonder,he is always winning his polling unit and others that are close to him.
