Tribute to a successful servant leader: Hon. Abdullahi Bello aka Dollar, Chairman APC Kogi State

It is with great privilege and admiration that I write to celebrate the man who is a symbol of commitment, dedication, loyalty and performance in our great party, The All Progressive Congress in Kogi State. He is a loud silence courtesy of his quiet and humble disposition to life achievements.
The general concurrence that greeted his emergence as the State Party Chairman in May 2018 was a firm confirmation that he is the right personality for
the job and a glaring sign that he will deliver even beyond the party’s expectations.

Those who have followed his political activities and trajectory in the mainstream political arena and workers unionism acknowledge his political dexterity, maturity, experience and doggedness.
So far, so good for a glorious two terms in office having brought tremendous
growth and achievements to the party and its membership. We thank GYB, party chieftains and the teaming members of Kogi APC for giving us a dogged,
experienced and fearless politician like Honorable Abdullahi Bello aka Dollar, a
round peg in a round hole.
No wonder, he has been able to transform the party with enviable milestone achievements and performance:
Election Results:
The outstanding electoral results posted by our great party in all the elections conducted under his watch are clear manifestations of a
performing leader.
Indeed, this chairman deserves applaud for leading the party to a convincingly overwhelming result over 2019 and 2023 elections.
Peace and Reconciliation:
As a statesman and true party man, he triggered the principle of reconciliation and harmonization by engaging positively with hesitant and discontented members through creative dialogue which led to the massive return of members to the party. Dollar eliminated the rule of alienation and embraced the philosophy of “we are more similar than we are different”, hence we can do more if we appreciate our diversity and embrace the
principle of inclusion in all circumstances.
It is said that achievement and success aren’t by accident or what seem like hours of mere hard work and in the case of our amiable Chairman the party’s breakthrough and successes came after:
– A lot of thinking outside the box
– Unwavering political commitment
– Innovative approaches to political mobilization and emancipation in
collaboration with other party chieftains and members.
We indeed appreciate the part you have played in maintaining peaceful coexistence amongst party members and your commitment to excellence.
You are indeed the vital link between the formulation and operationalization of our party’s electioneering strategies, tactics and agenda. God bless you, our amiable Chairman.
Your efforts and achievements say so much of the kind of personality you are;
resourceful, well-organized and result-oriented. You have metamorphosed into a political guru and cynosure in the eyes of our political leaders at both National
and state levels.
The values and principles you have brought to bare during your tenure as our
party chairman are symbolic and unforgettable. You indeed deserve to be
celebrated, you deserve to be decorated, you deserve to be elevated for it is said that the reward for good work is more work.
Now, the process of electing a successor to our dearest GYB has started with the
emergence of Alhaji Ahmed Ododo as our flag bearer. As the November polls draws nearer, I have no doubt that you have already developed the winning strategy for another landslide victory for our candidate and OdodoWin is the
code!
