We will pay GYB with votes for giving us a University, Kabba APC Ward Chairmen says, as Omoluabi begin strategic engagement tour ahead of Nov 11th
The nine ward Chairmen of Kabba district of Kabba/Bunu LGA have assured Governor Yahaya Bello and APC Gubernatorial Candidate, Alh Ododo Ahmed Usman that the people are ready to repay Governor Yahaya Bello with votes for establishing the Kogi State University, Kabba. They made the declaration during a strategy meeting with the Special Adviser to the Governor on Civil Service and Labour Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi who is on a general voter mobilization engagement in the locality. One after the other, the elated ward Chairmen spoke glowingly of the unprecedented touch of Governor Yahaya Bello in Kabba/Bunu LGA, ranging from establishment of the University to Kabba Township roads construction to upgrading of their royal fathers, to empowerment and palliative provision in time of challenge.
Speaking on the University, the ward Chairman for Aiyewa Ward, Pastor Iseolorunkanmi commended the Governor for making the long years of prayers of Kabba people to become a reality in his time for establishing the Kogi State University, Kabba. He says the Governor has written his name in gold and has planted for himself an unforgettable legacy project that will outlive this generation, he said the Governor has through this institution positively exposed Kabba to the world in a way no one has done before. He therefore assured the Governor of their total commitment to the Ododo project.
On his part, Chairman of Asuta Ward, Hon Oshadare John says he has no regret supporting the Governor as Chairman for eight years because the gains of the community in his administration have proven that their efforts for Governor Yahaya Bello is not in vain, he said the Governor made them proud in the community for all he has done for them. He went further to assure the Governor that Alh Ododo Ahmed Usman will pull votes that will compete with Okene LGA.

While rounding up on the path of the Chairmen, the Chairman of Otu Ward Hon OlorunSaiye Sunday expressed deep exhilaration and appreciation to the Governor and also assured that they will leave no stone unturned for Ododo/Oyibo ticket, he charged all stakeholders to unite for the patriotic cause of electing Ododo for continuity of good governance.
While giving his opening remarks, the Convener of the meeting and Special Adviser to the Governor on Civil Service and Labour Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi says the meeting was an in-house jaw jaw as part of the activities leading to the November 11th gubernatorial election. Omoluabi said the people of Kabba have every good reasons to support the continuity of APC in view of the unprecedented economic, Educational, employment and general developmental deliveries of the Yahaya Bello led New direction government when compared to all the previous administrations in the state since the creation of Kogi State.
The Special Adviser said the said the government of Alh Yahaya Bello have not only done well for Kabba people but have done beyond the expectation of the people especially for the Establishment of the Kogi State University, Kabba, construction of road network and other developmental strides that have thrown the community up for unusual development. He said through the Educational development of the community there is expected estimated influx of over ten thousand students and over three thousand direct and indirect jobs in the next seven years singularly because of the establishment of the University. He described this as a hugely unprecedented development the people will continue to enjoy.
Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi therefore charged the ward Chairmen to take the message to the people and see that as a cogent reason to vote Alh Ododo Ahmed Usman as the person who will continue with the University wherever Governor Yahaya Bello stops.
