Wemi Jones Receives Ijumu APC Youth Leaders, Calls for Unity, Commitment and Stronger Party Support

The Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB, today received members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Leaders Forum in Ijumu Local Government Area at his office, in an engagement centred on party unity, grassroots mobilisation and sustained support for the administration of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo.
The delegation, led by the Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Ibrahim Bolawale, comprised APC Ward Chairmen and youth leaders drawn from across Ijumu Local Government Area.

Addressing the delegation, Hon. Wemi Jones urged the party leaders to remain committed, steadfast and united in their political engagements, stressing the importance of cohesion and collective responsibility in strengthening the APC at the grassroots.
He further encouraged the leaders to sustain their support for the APC and the administration of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo, noting that the present administration has continued to build upon existing programmes and legacies while advancing its development agenda across the state.
The Commissioner also called on the party stakeholders to strengthen their mobilisation and support for APC candidates at all levels, emphasising the importance of grassroots structures to the success and sustainability of the party.
Earlier, Hon. Ibrahim Bolawale expressed appreciation to the Commissioner for his accessibility, warmth and hospitality. He particularly commended Hon. Jones for making himself available to receive the delegation despite the visit not having been formally communicated in advance.
The meeting provided a platform for constructive dialogue and political engagement, while further strengthening relationships among APC leaders, youth stakeholders and grassroots structures in Ijumu Local Government Area.
