WHY NIGERIANS WILL HAPPILY RENEW THE MANDATE OF ASIWAJU BỌLA AHMED TINUBU IN 2027

By Musa Bakare

As Nigeria navigates a critical phase of national rebirth, one truth is becoming increasingly evident: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) is conducting a bold and unprecedented transformation of the country.

Clearly and without doubt, no Nigerian President, living or dead, military or civilian, has undertaken the kind of courageous, sweeping reforms that President Tinubu is implementing since he assumed office.

His administration’s approach can best be described as a surgical operation, painful but necessary. With a clear vision to reposition Nigeria for future prosperity, President Tinubu has retooled the system with policies that demand resilience and collective sacrifice.

One of the most visible signs of this effective leadership is financial stability across the states. Since President Tinubu assumed office, none of the 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory, has reported non-payment of salaries to civil servants. This is a sharp contrast to the past, when several states struggled to meet basic salary obligations.

Under President Tinubu administration, there has been a noticeable decline in external borrowing by state governments. This is a testament to improved federal fiscal management and support, allowing states to better manage their resources without accumulating unsustainable debt.

President Tinubu is not just managing Nigeria; he is restructuring it for long term growth. His leadership is pragmatic, his decisions bold, and his vision nationalistic. These are the hallmarks of a leader deserving of continued trust and support.

Come 2027, Nigerians will not hesitate to renew the mandate of Asiwaju, the man who has proven that he has both the will and the capacity to lead Nigeria into a brighter future.
