Wike To Contractors Adherence to Schedule or Face Revocation

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barr. Nyesom Wike, has issued a stern warning to contractors responsible for the Kuje-Airport road junction project, urging them to adhere to the stipulated schedule or face the possibility of project revocation.

Speaking in Kuje town during the flagging off of a 5-kilometer rural road in Kuje Area Council under the FCT Satellites Town Development Agency, Wike emphasized the importance of timely project delivery.

He asserted that his administration would not tolerate any delays and expects the projects to be completed within the set timeframe.

Addressing the broader commitment to completing abandoned projects, Wike stated, “Any project that was awarded before now, and abandoned, we have to go back to those projects because government is a continuum.” He stressed the significance of utilizing public funds responsibly and ensuring a positive impact on the lives of the
