FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Yagba Deserves a Second Term: A Call for Unity, Inclusivity, and Continuity.

Kabba, Kogi State – Chief Hon. Aiyenale Fred Jimoh, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kabba Bunu LGA of Kogi State, has issued a compelling statement urging all party members and stakeholders to support the continuation of the Yagba Federal Constituency’s turn to represent Kogi West Senatorial District for a second term.

In a press release, Chief Jimoh highlighted the importance of upholding the gentleman’s zoning arrangement that has long fostered peace and unity within the APC. He emphasized that allowing Yagba to complete two terms, as has been the custom for other zones, is a matter of fairness, inclusiveness, and a sense of belonging for all constituents.
“For the sake of unity and to sustain the peace we have long enjoyed in our party under the Leadership of the former governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and sustained by the incumbent governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, we must allow the Yagba Federal Constituency to complete its turn. This principle of zoning is a cornerstone of our collective harmony and has been rightfully enjoyed by other zones,” Chief Jimoh stated. “To deviate now would be to invite unnecessary rancor and disunity, which we cannot afford as we prepare for the 2027 general election.”

Chief Jimoh further asserted that the current representative in the Senate, Senator Sunday Karimi, has proven to be an exceptional leader with a robust and direct relationship with his constituents, whose performance and dedication to his constituents justify a second term. He lauded Senator Karimi’s impactful programs and projects, which he described as life-changing and a testament to his commitment to the wellbeing people.

“Senator Sunday Karimi has demonstrated exceptional leadership and representation. His people’s empowerment and relief programs have been commendable and life-changing,” Chief Jimoh noted. “His support and financial contributions to the affairs of students in Kogi West have been tremendous and exceptional. Furthermore, the community development projects he has facilitated across all communities are a huge demonstration of his care and love for his constituents.”

The chieftain underscored the necessity of presenting a united front for the 2027 elections, stating that any internal strife could jeopardize the party’s chances of overall victory. He called on all members to rally behind Senator Karimi and the Yagba Federal Constituency to ensure a seamless and victorious campaign.
“As a party, we cannot afford any form of rancor that will cause disunity. We must ensure we move into the 2027 general election as a united people for the overall victory of our party,” he concluded. *”Let us support the Yagba Federal Constituency and Senator Sunday Karimi for a well-deserved second term.”

Signed
Chief Hon. Aiyenale Fred Jimoh
