Yetunde Adeniji Bags Excellent Leadership Award

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Home Grown School Feeding Programme (HGSFP), Hon. Yetunde Adeniji, has been honoured with the Excellent Leadership Award.
The recognition came at the 15th Public Lecture and Award Ceremony of Democracy Newsline Newspaper, held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the National Merit Award House, Maitama, Abuja. She was honoured alongside other distinguished Nigerians who have made remarkable contributions to national development.

Hon. Adeniji was celebrated for her sterling leadership qualities and impactful service to the Nigerian people, particularly in her current role as Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on HGSFP. The programme has been instrumental in reducing the number of out-of-school children across the country while improving nutrition and educational outcomes.
In her acceptance speech, Hon. Adeniji expressed gratitude to the organisers for the recognition, describing it as “a mark of honour and identification that must be reciprocated with continuous, purposeful, and people-driven leadership for the progress of Nigeria and the service of humanity.”
Her leadership style, marked by vision, commitment, and compassion, continues to serve as a beacon of hope to the less privileged while inspiring a new generation of Nigerian youths to embrace service and excellence.
