The Coordinator of Yomite Boys, Femi Ojo Solomon, has commended Hon. Leke Abejide for his developmental strides in Yagba Federal Constituency, describing him as “the Joseph of our time” whose achievements are “second to none.”

Solomon spoke on May 13, 2026, during the disbursement of ₦10 million each to Odole and Ileteju Mopa, Ilai, Okeagi, Ilemo, and Ijagbe communities under the Leke Abejide Foundation.

The event brought together political leaders, traditional rulers, and community associations.

“His landmark achievements in Yagba Federal Constituency are second to none. No wonder, we are yearning to have him for a third term and even for as long as he wants it,” Solomon said.

Highlighting Abejide’s contributions, he noted that the lawmaker has consistently paid WAEC fees for students across the constituency and has extended support to postgraduate students pursuing master’s degrees.

“In the area of infrastructure, Hon. Elder Leke has singlehandedly facilitated and constructed roads and drainages across the length and breadth of Yagba Federal Constituency,” he said.

He also cited the construction and equipping of Computer-Based Test centres for students sitting for entrance and employment examinations, and the recent facilitation of jobs for five Yagba indigenes in the Nigeria Customs Service and other MDAs.

Solomon added that Abejide had positively impacted widows and the less privileged, and extended support to royal fathers.

He described the ongoing ₦710 million legacy project as one that “will surely never be erased in the memory of time.”

“To whom much is expected, much is given. For as much as we expect more from you, we also need to give you more tenure,” he said, urging constituents to support Abejide’s continued stay in office.

The event was attended by Hon. Leke Abejide, member representing Yagba Federal Constituency and his beloved , Yeye Esther Abejide,Hon. Olawumi Jacobs, member of the Kogi State House of Assembly representing Mopamuro Constituency; Hon. Ademola Bello Destiny, Executive Chairman of Mopamuro LGA; the Elulu of Mopa and other royal fathers; Chief Abayomi Olorunshola, founder and sponsor of Yomite Boys; executives of the Mopa Development Association; and representatives of other community associations.

The disbursement formed part of the foundation’s community empowerment initiative aimed at supporting grassroots development across Yagba Federal Constituency.
