You are a “Professor of Grassroot Politics”: APC National Chairman, Yilwatada Hails Halims

The Deputy House Leader, House of Representatives, Rt Honorable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Halims has been named a “Professor of Grassroot Politics” by the All progressives Congress, APC National Chairman, Professor Nantawe Yilwatada.
He made this remark during the visit to the House of Representatives chamber in Abuja on Tuesday to receive defected legislators from NNPP and other political parties.
Rt Honorable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Halims in a sober reflection accept the new nomenclature, but commiserated with the National Chairman, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the unfortunate situations in Plateau, Kaduna and Zamfara states.
He restated the commitment of the National Assembly, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the security of lives and properties of ordinary Nigerians, saying may the soul of the departed ones rest in peace.
While assuring Nigerians of the security agencies efforts at addressing the emergency situations by arresting the perpetrators of the crime .Halims stated.

“Earlier today, I received my friend and erudite Professor who doubles as the National Chairman of my great party; the All Progressives Congress, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda at the National Assembly. ”
“He was part of a powerful entourage that was later admitted to the Chamber alongside HE Gov. Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State, in solidarity with a retinue of members who defected from the NNPP, other minority parties to the majority APC.”
“While we were having a tet-at-tet mutual grief of the Angwan Rukuba mass murder, the Majority Leader; Rt. Hon Prof @Julius Ihonvbere, CON intimated me with their Professorship titles and the All Progressives Congress (Nigeria) Party’s Chairman graciously named me a Professor of grassroots politics in a Comraderie gesture that forced humour out of us. ”
