Yuletide: Dr Emmanuel Obaro Doles Out N10m to Constituents
Hon. Emmanuel Obaro, member representing Yagba East Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, has disbursed N10 million to support party structures, youth groups and community-based organisations in his constituency.
The gesture, according to reports, was distributed across stakeholders as follows: N1 million to all ten ward party chairmen, N4.5 million to Ward 08 youth, and N4.5 million to twelve community groups and associations.
Speaking during the presentation of the support, Obaro said the initiative was part of his commitment to grassroots empowerment and strengthening political participation at the ward level.

He added that the funds were aimed at encouraging community projects and enhancing the capacity of youths and political structures in the constituency.
Beneficiaries commended the lawmaker for what they described as a timely intervention, pledging continued support for his developmental initiatives. Several community representatives expressed optimism that the gesture would boost local engagements and foster unity among stakeholders.
The lawmaker reaffirmed his readiness to pursue more developmental programmes and legislative interventions that will enhance the welfare of Yagba East residents.
