Yuletide: Sen. Karimi fetes Military, Police, other Security formations in Kogi West.

As part of his activities in reaching out to his constituents in this festive season, Sen. Sunday Karimi, representing Kogi West Senatorial District has feted the Military formations in Yagba West.

Recalled that the Senator recently built and donated a 200 bed Forward Military base to enhance security in and around Kogi West and States adjoining and bordering Kogi State from Yagba West.

Towards ensuring their comfortability and to ensure that the military men on duty during the yulitide enjoy join in the celebration, Sen. Karimi provided cows and several bags of rice to support the troops.

The gesture by Sen. Karimi didn’t stop at the troops, he extended the gesture to the 12th Army brigade, Naval brigade, the Nigerian Police headquarters and Mobile Police all in Lokoja.

Sen. Karimi aside providing cows, bags of rice, tubers of yams, tomatoes and other cooking items for the troops at the base, equally engaged caterers to cook for the troops serving at the Egbe forward Operational Base for the four days.

Sen. Karimi described President, Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s administration as committed to ensuring the security of lives and properties in the country, added that it behooves on citizens to collectively join hands in making the society safe.

He assured that he will continue to do all within available resources to ensure the security of lives and properties in Kogi West, praised Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo for making security top on his administration agenda.
