ZUBAIRU IJEBOR BAGS WAKILI EDO KINGDOM CHIEFTAINCY TITLE.
It was yet another day of Promotion, Celebration and Gratitude to God almighty for Zubairu Ijebor as he was turbaned as the Wakili Edo Kingdom of Runji-Dakwa, Bwari Area Council of the federal Capital Territory(FCT),Abuja.
His Royal Highness, Zubairu was turbaned Saturday May 3rd,2025, alongside other tribal Chiefs domiciled in Runji-Dakwa, at the Degechi Dakwa Palace, and was joined by family Members, Colleagues, Friends and the entire Edo Community in the area at a reception in his residence behind Stanza Hotel ,Runji to Celebrate his elevation.
Speaking to the media ,the newly turbaned Wakili Edo Community, HRH. Zubairu Ijebor,expressed delight and gratitude to God, for the recognition accorded him to be Chosen amongst others to lead his people, he further pointed out that his appointment and subsequent turban has buttressed the saying that,” whatever you are doing if its good keep doing it even if those around you never deem it fit to give you the accolades” , so today is my happiest day in my entire live, infact, i am overwhelmed with gratitude “.
The Wakili Edo Kingdom further expressed his willingness and desire to Contribute towards guaranteeing the security of lives and Properties in the area, as Security remains his topmost agenda as he assumed the position of the Wakili Edo Kingdom, Runji-Dakwa, he said.
The Wakili Edo also stressed that another area in which he would mobilise his people, other Chiefs and the entire Community, is on enlightenment to be law abiding, and also remain supportive to Government policies and programs,so as to attract the devidend of democracy to the Community.
He thanked all his well-wishers who stood by him and Supported his aspirations of becoming the Wakili Edo Kingdom,even as he prayed almighty Allah to rewards them in manifolds.
