10-Year-Old Boy, Jamaldeen Isiaka, Launches Inspiring Book Titled “God’s Time Is The Best” in Abeokuta

By Solanke Ayomideji Taiwo
Abeokuta, Ogun State — July 26, 2025

In a heartwarming and inspiring display of talent and discipline, 10-year-old Jamaldeen Adeleke Isiaka has etched his name into Ogun State’s literary history by officially launching his debut book titled “God’s Time Is The Best”. The launch took place today in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, drawing admiration from educators, dignitaries, students, and well-wishers.

Jamaldeen, a student of Well-Watered Garden Schools, Abeokuta, was the only pupil in the 2024/2025 graduating class to complete and submit the book-writing project initiated by the school management. According to school sources, the book project was introduced by the School Proprietress as a creative assignment meant to encourage critical thinking, storytelling, and personal expression among students.

Dignitaries attended the book launch were Deaconess Oluwatoyin Isiaka (Madam GNI), Hon. Wasiu Isiaka
Comm. For Sports Development), Others from ministry of education science and technology in Ogun state.

Against all odds, Jamaldeen not only met the project’s deadline but surpassed expectations with the quality of his work. His effort culminated in the publication of a compelling short novel that centers around moral values, family upbringing, and the belief that everything in life happens according to divine timing.

About the Book

Titled “God’s Time Is The Best”, the book tells the story of two young characters, David and Sissy, who come from vastly different backgrounds. David, a long-awaited only child, is raised with virtues such as patience, contentment, hard work, and honesty. Sissy, also an only child, grows up indulged and over-pampered, lacking essential life skills. As they grow older and become friends, their contrasting upbringings significantly influence the choices they make in life.

The story subtly but powerfully highlights the importance of parenting, discipline, and moral upbringing. Through David and Sissy’s experiences, readers are encouraged to reflect on how family values shape a child’s future.

A Young Author with a Bright Future

Born on August 10, 2014, in Lagos, Jamaldeen hails from Imeko/Afon Local Government Area in Ogun State. To a public servant, and Mrs. Isiaka Taiwo Muheenat, a dedicated teacher with the Ogun State Ministry of Education.

Currently serving as the Head Boy of his school, Jamaldeen is already being recognized as a role model among his peers. Teachers describe him as disciplined, focused, and mature beyond his years.

Speaking at the book launch, Jamaldeen expressed gratitude to his parents, teachers, and especially the School Proprietress for believing in his potential.

“Writing this book was not easy, but I learned a lot about patience and hard work. I wanted to tell a story that would teach people, both young and old, that waiting on God’s time is always the best,” he said with a bright smile.

Reactions and Commendations

The event was graced by officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Education, parents, school staff, and fellow students. Commendations poured in for Jamaldeen, with many describing him as “a shining light” and “an emerging literary star.”

Deaconess Oluwatoyin Isiaka (Madam GNI) noted:

“At just 10, Jamaldeen is already doing what many adults dream of. He is a testament to what our youth can achieve with the right guidance and encouragement.”

Mr. and Mrs. Isiaka, beaming with pride, thanked the school and community for supporting their son’s dreams. “We’ve always tried to raise Jamaldeen with values that matter. Seeing him write a book that promotes those same values is a blessing,” said his father.

Looking Ahead

With the success of “God’s Time Is The Best”, Jamaldeen has made it clear that this is just the beginning. He expressed hopes of writing more books in the future and aspires to one day become a motivational speaker and author known across Nigeria and beyond.

In an age where distractions abound, Jamaldeen Isiaka’s accomplishment stands as a beacon of hope, proving that with determination, support, and purpose, even the youngest voices can inspire change and spark meaningful conversations.
