2023: FOMWAN mobilize members on election

The Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria
(FOMWAN) has mobilized it’s members on the 2023 General election on do’s and dont’s of voting process.
Mr Abdulkadir Ibrahim, the Public Affairs and Political Office of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Kwara sensitise FOMWAN members on how to conduct themselves during the 2023 general elections.
He took them through the process of effective method of casting their votes, while advising them how best to avoid making them null and void.
Ibrahim advised the religious organizations to admonish their wards and children against being misled by politicians to create mayhem and crisis.
He warned that the full wrath of the law would be metted on anybody who tried to break the law.
“The INEC has ensured that everything is in place for a peaceful conduct of 2023 election. It is expected that voters should follow the rules and regulations properly.
“Preference would be given to those who are physically challenged, the elderly and pregnant women to cast their votes due. To their condition,” he said.
Speaking also, Hajia Ni’mat Labaika, the Kwara FOMWAN Amirah admonished members to make judicious use of the sensitization.
She urged members to come out en masse to vote for their candidates of choice.
Labaika also advise them to warn their loved ones against causing any acts of violence.
