2023 KOGI GOVERNORSHIP; ODODO EBIGO CONNECT Open Campaign OFFICE, Hips On Ododo As Symbol Of Kogi Unity
The ODODO EBIGO CONNECT Campaign Support Group has officially open it’s campaign office in readiness for the forthcoming governorship election In Kogi State.
The event which took place at the heart of Lokoja Nostalgia Junction was well attended by large numbers of members and supporters of APC Governorship candidate Alhaji Usman Ododo across the twenty one local government areas of the State.
In his Opening Remark the Director General of ODODO EBIGO CONNECT Comrade Abdulganiyu Okaraga Jimoh used the occasion to remind the support group of their own mandate which is to foster sound unity among all the people of kogi State even as they put in their best to ensure the victory of their principal Alhaji Usman Ododo at the November 11th Governorship Election in the state.
The ODODO EBIGO CONNECT Director General reiterated that the desire of the group is to see a better Kogi State built on Unity and oneness in respectively of tribe or ethnicity.
He noted that the EBIGO CONNECT campaign project is a project for all citizens of the State, stressing that all they are desiring for is a better Kogi State which the solid foundation has already been laid by Governor Yahaya Bello and they are going to work to ensure that Ododo continues from where Governor Bello would stop.
Comrade Abdulganiyu Okaraga Jimoh stated that The ODODO EBIGO CONNECT cut across the three Senatorial districts of the State and the project is already involving all the ethics group in the State.
While making his address at the event
The Chairman of Kogi State Security Trust Fund, Mr. Samari Teina Abdulmalik, Emphasized that all the support groups are under the canopy of the All Progressive Congress APC in kogi State and the EBIGO CONNECT Group is the biggest body that comprise the major tribes in Kogi State.
He charged the stakeholders and members of EBIGO CONNECT that all efforts should be geared towards winning the election for the party candidate comes November 11th election.
He added that Governor Yahaya Bello is the father of kogi APC and kogi is APC 100 percent dominant saying that there would be no violence, crisis nor any form of security challenges during the election. And that the election would be won free and fair.
While affirming that the purpose of the gathering is to officially open the ODODO EBIGO CONNECT campaign office at the heart of Lokoja the state capital to serve as a coordinating point for the campaign activities of the Organization.
He disclosed that the Ebigo is a project that is set up for the unity of the entire people of the state and therefore it would transient beyond the election period by continuing as a tool to further strengthen the Unity of the State.
Also speaking at the occasion a renowned women Mobilizer from the state. Pharmacist Ramat Omolo Aliu urged the people of the State to embrace Ododo as kogi agenda calling on the people to rally round him through their votes for him to become the next governor of state.
