2027: Ebonyi Central Senatorial ADC Candidate Prioritizes Healthcare, Education in Campaign Manifesto

The candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Ebonyi Central senatorial election, Dr Ugo Magnus Kel, has prioritized stronger primary healthcare, improved access to medical facilities, support for maternal and child healthcare, health insurance awareness, and interventions that enhance healthcare delivery across the constituency.
The candidate added that he would provide effective representation, progressive legislation and constituency development in the zone.

He made the assurance during a formal inauguration of his campaign for the 2027 Senatorial election in the zone.
Dr. Magnus stressed that he remained committed to establishing a strong constituency engagement framework, including regular town-hall meetings and direct engagement with communities, traditional institutions, women, youth, professionals, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders.
During his declaration with ADC stakeholders, the Ebonyi Central senatorial candidate said he would advocate for the rehabilitation and construction of critical roads, improved electricity supply, access to clean water, rural development, and digital connectivity across Ebonyi Central zone.
According to him: “I stand ready to serve the people of Ebonyi Central. This election is not simply about occupying a seat in the Senate? It is about giving our people a stronger voice, attracting meaningful development, and using legislative power to create opportunities that improve lives”.
“I am offering practical leadership, effective representation, and a results-driven legislative agenda. I believe Ebonyi Central deserves a Senator who will be accessible to the people, courageous in the National Assembly, and relentless in pursuing development for our communities”.
“The 2027 election is a choice about the kind of representation Ebonyi Central deserves. I am offering myself to serve with courage, competence, humility, and purpose. Together, we can build an Ebonyi Central where our young people have opportunities, our communities attract development, our businesses can grow, and every constituent knows that their voice is strongly represented in Abuja. This is not about me. It is about the people of Ebonyi Central and the future we can build together”, Dr Magnus added.
He further expressed optimism that with budget advocacy, legislative oversight, and strategic engagement with relevant federal agencies, he would pursue projects that deliver measurable impact on communities across the senatorial district.
“At the Senate, I will support progressive, people-centred legislation that promotes economic growth, protects citizens’ rights, strengthens institutions, improves transparency, and creates an enabling environment for investment”
“I will also exercise his constitutional oversight responsibilities to ensure that government programmes and public resources deliver meaningful value to the people of Ebonyi Central”.
