HON. OBETULE EMELE EMMANUEL J.P., SSA GRASSROOT SENSITISATION TO THE GOVERNOR, APPLAUDS ODODO/OYIBO ADMINISTRATION FOR PEOPLE-ORIENTED GOVERNANCE
Hon. Obetule Emele Emmanuel J.P., Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State on Grassroot Sensitisation, has applauded the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and his Deputy, Comrade Elder Joel Oyibo, for their unwavering commitment, purposeful leadership, and people-oriented governance across the state.
Hon. Emele described the administration as a government that is steadily translating its policy direction into tangible dividends of democracy, noting that the prompt payment of workers’ salaries has strengthened the confidence and morale of civil servants while reinforcing the administration’s commitment to workers’ welfare.
He further commended the government for its continued intervention in the provision of social amenities and critical infrastructure, describing these initiatives as strategic investments in grassroots development and the overall socio-economic advancement of the people of Kogi State.
On security, Hon. Emele acknowledged the administration’s efforts in confronting security challenges across the state. He noted that the government’s collaboration with security agencies and its sustained commitment to protecting lives and property are essential to creating a peaceful environment for economic activities, investment, and community development.
According to him, good governance must be measured by its impact on the people, and the Ododo/Oyibo administration is demonstrating that leadership is about service, accountability, responsiveness, and delivering democratic dividends to citizens.
Hon. Emele therefore called on the good people of Kogi State, political stakeholders, community leaders, youths, women, civil servants, and other critical stakeholders to continue to support and cooperate with the administration.
He urged citizens to remain united, politically conscious, and supportive of government programmes and policies, stressing that collective support and constructive partnership between the government and the people remain critical to achieving sustainable development.
He reaffirmed his commitment to taking the government’s message and development agenda to the grassroots, mobilising citizens, sensitising communities, and strengthening the connection between government policies and the people.
“Kogi belongs to all of us, and the progress of our state requires collective responsibility. Let us support good governance, sustain unity, and continue to work together for a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Kogi State.”
