2027: Etanabene Pledges Support for Peter Obi if He Clinches ADC Presidential Ticket

By Wilson Macaulay

Hon. Benedict Etanabene, member representing Okpe/Uvwie/Sapele Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has declared that he will throw his full weight behind Mr. Peter Obi’s presidential bid in 2027—if the former Anambra Governor emerges as the candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Speaking during a media parley at the Labour Party Secretariat in Effurun, Delta State, Etanabene expressed unflinching belief in Obi’s vision for Nigeria. He said Obi’s leadership style is one Nigeria urgently needs, highlighting his record of prudent resource management and effective governance.

He affirmed that Obi’s alignment with the ADC coalition represents a renewed hope for Nigerians grappling with severe economic challenges.
