2027; Seyi Makinde promises Genuine Reforms on Security, Right Pricing of Petroleum Products, Food Security

Allied People’s Movement APM Presidential Candidate, and Executive Governor of Oyo state, Engineer Seyi Makinde has promised to overhaul the security system, right pricing of Petroleum Products, food security across the country when elected as President come 2027.
He made the revelation in Ibadan on Thursday during the declaration of his bid to become Nigeria’s President in the forthcoming general elections.

He described it as laughable were Nigeria as a producer of oil , yet left its citizens languishing in poverty out of post colonial policies of embracing international pricing of oil and Petroleum Products across the country.
“What are the social security, contract between ordinary Nigerians and its citizens , when obviously average Nigerians are all out begging for survival because of bad leadership under the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu with no visible development.”
“We are made the Chief Security Officer of the state as Governors without the enabling apparatus and control over security agencies, so what have we done .”
“Our citizens are enmeshed and under the cocoon of the threats of banditry, kidnappings, cattle rustling, and other criminal activities, while our security officers are busy playing politics under the guise of leadership acumen .”
“For weeks citizens of Oyo , Borno among many other states are under the custody of kidnappers across the country, with no visible efforts at arresting the ugly situations by the Federal government”
“It his high time we reset the country for transparent and visible development that holds ordinary Nigerians in high regard , rather than embarking on wasteful ventures that has no direct bearing on our people.”
While promising to replicate the all round development achieved in the last seven years in Oyo state at the federal level, Makinde assured Nigerians of an indigenous agricultural system that will ensure all regions in Nigeria depends on stable government policies for farmers and large scale bumper harvest.
He asked Nigerians to support him as demonstrated by the people of South West, stating that leadership with the people at heart transcends and underscore massive development.
Engineer Makinde assured Nigerians to continue to lead with the fear of God and to prioritize the welfare of the citizens.
Earlier, the APM National Chairman, Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantalle adjudged the affirmation of Governor Seyi Makinde as most acceptable and transparent by the delegates and Chairmen of the party comprising of 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
He stated that it is only Makinde that can take the country to the promise land in the next dispensation.
He expressed regrets that gone were those days Nigerians clamour for “Ghana Must Go”, saying the trend of the events in the country has showed that “Nigeria Must Go ” as it is happening in South Africa were we fought tirelessly for their freedom.
Dantalle passed vote of confidence in Governor Seyi Makinde and his ability to rule Nigeria conscientiously with the fear of God.
Governor Makinde was presented with the certificate of return and decorated with the flag of Allied People’s Movement,APM.
