As part of his support to the health needs of the people within the communities under the coverage of the program, Hon Faleke has consistently assembled a team of medical experts from different fields on yearly basis to carry out the medical outreach in order to support the people in the area.

This year is no different as the team of medical personnel of Doctors-on- the-Move Africa led by the team leader, Dr Haruna Joseph Kigbu were in Ekinrin-Adde community and Specialist Hospital, Kabba to attend to as many people that presented themselves for the program.

According to information made available to our reporter in Kabba after 8 days of the program in the two centers by the team leader, Dr. Haruna Kigbu confirmed that GOPD recorded 2282 patients while 771 patients on eye consultation were also recorded in Ekinrin-Adde center. 524 eye glasses were given to patients who are in need after their screening, 86 came for ultrasound, 465 laboratory services were carried out, while 36 Gynes surgeries, 28 Cataract surgeries were carried out respectively.

While some of the beneficiaries who could not hold their joy, eulogized the magnanimity of Hon James Abiodun Faleke’s gesture of always looking after their welfare, they pointed out that he is a worthy son of Okunland considering the monumental intervention projects he has been facilitating to the state.

Raphael Sunday who was one of the patients they carried surgery of appendix and hernia, said he will continue to be grateful to Hon Faleke for the kind gesture, pointing out that without the opportunity provided, he may have died because he did not have money for the surgery.

Just recently one hundred and ten youths (110) across the three Senatorial districts of the state were selected and trained in ICT program where tablet were given to each and everyone of them with token to facilitate their transportation to Kabba where the program was hosted, the training exposed the beneficiaries to the enormous opportunities in the ICT sector for them to be self employed through ICT.
