In a remarkable display of unity and joy, the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, graced the wedding ceremony of Abdurrahman Muhammad Tanko and Barirah Usman Aliyu at the Sheikh Ja’afar Memorial Mosque/Islamic Centre in the Unguwan Dosa area of Kaduna State on a beautiful day marked by love and blessings.
The atmosphere was filled with an air of excitement as friends, family, and dignitaries gathered to witness the sacred union of the couple. The Sheikh Ja’afar Mosque, renowned for its serene beauty, was the perfect backdrop for the union of two souls destined for each other. A key moment during the ceremony was the special role played by the esteemed Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani. His Excellency stood in for the Emir of Gumel, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ahmed Muhammad Sani, as the Wakil (representative) of the groom. With grace and wisdom, Governor Uba Sani symbolized the deep-rooted respect for tradition while ensuring that the sacred customs were honored in every way. Similarly, His Royal Highness, the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk, served as the Waliy (guardian) of the bride, adding an additional layer of royalty and distinction to the event.
