A SALUTE TO LOYALTY: RT. HON. JAMES ABIODUN FALEKE: A PRIDE OF NIGERIA, KOGI STATE, KOGI WEST, AND OKUN PEOPLE WORLDWIDE

By Musa Bakare

As Okun children, born of the rich heritage of Kogi West Senatorial District, we will forever stand with unwavering pride in the person of Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, the distinguished Member representing the very good people of Ikeja Federal Constituency in Lagos State and Chairman, House Committee on Finance, Federal House of Representatives.

In today’s political landscape, where betrayal and opportunism have become alarmingly common, Hon. Faleke stands out as a rare example of loyalty, gratitude, and principled leadership, worthy of emulation.

While others shamelessly turn their backs on those who once uplifted them, Hon. Faleke remains solidly committed to the man through whom God elevated him and made him of use to Nigeria, Lagos and Kogi states and indeed Okun people, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Rather than join the chorus of ingratitude and shifting alliances, Faleke has chosen the higher path: the path of honor, of unwavering support, and of enduring commitment. In doing so, he has not only affirmed his character but has continued to be a channel of development and inspiration to the people of Kogi State, particularly the Okun people.

His loyalty is not born of compulsion, but of conviction. His dedication is not about politics, but principle.

The example set by Hon. Faleke is a powerful lesson to all of us: Loyalty is not a weakness. Gratitude is not subservience. And in the end, history favors those who stand by the truth, even when it is not popular.

Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke is not just a politician. He is a symbol of everything our democracy should represent, service, sacrifice, loyalty, and legacy.

Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Long live Kogi State.
Long live the Okun Nation.
Long live our values.
