The National Headquarters of the Advocacy Against Drug Abuse and Rehabilitation Awareness Initiative (AADARAI) has extended its commendation and appreciation to the Bayelsa State chapter, led by Dr. Emmanuel, for their successful courtesy visit to the Zonal Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Zone 13, in Yenagoa.
The visit, which took place on July 9, 2025, aimed to strengthen partnerships with law enforcement institutions and enhance grassroots collaboration in the fight against drug abuse. AADARAI’s National Coordinator, Hon. Bala Salihu Dawakin Kudu, praised the Bayelsa State chapter’s initiative, citing their dedication, proactive leadership, and community engagement as exemplary.
The National Coordinator emphasized the responsibility of all AADARAI members to act as watchful advocates in their communities, urging them to remain vigilant and report suspicious individuals or illicit drug activities to security agencies. He also encouraged State Coordinators to commit to rehabilitating at least one individual struggling with drug addiction in their state.
He said the organization remains committed to building a drug-free, healthy, and productive Nigeria, one community at a time.
By advocating against drug abuse and actively assisting in the recovery and reintegration of affected individuals, AADARAI aims to create a ripple effect of positive change across the country.
