AAT University Founder/ Chancellor Condoles Emir, Others Over the Death of Chief Imam, Muh’d Bashir
The Founder and Chancellor of AbdulRasaq Abubakar Toyin University (AATU), Oke-Ogba, Ganmo, Kwara State, Alhaji AbdulRasaq Abubakar Toyin, has extended heartfelt condolences to the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu- Gambari, the Ilorin Emirate Council, Kwara State Council of Ulamas, and the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) on the passing of the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Muhammed Bashir Soliu Fulani.
The demise of Sheikh Bashir Soliu Fulani in a statement,he personally signed and released said his death is a profound loss to Ilorin Emirate, the Muslim Ummah, and the wider society. The AAT Founder who described the Chief Imam as a father explained with sadness that he was a revered spiritual leader whose life was marked by deep piety, sound scholarship, humility, and unwavering commitment to peace, moral guidance, and communal harmony. His counsel and exemplary leadership left an enduring imprint on generations of faithful and leaders alike.
The AAT University Chancellor joins the Ilorin Emirate at this moment of grief to honour the legacy of a cleric who dedicated his life to the service of Allah and humanity, and pray that Almighty Allah grants him Al-Jannatul Firdaus and comforts the Emir, the Emirate Council, the state Council of Ulamas,IEDPU, his family, disciples, and the entire Ilorin community.
May Allah grant all those he left behind the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and continue to uphold the values of faith, unity, and service which he so nobly exemplified.
