ABAJI CHAIRMAN ABUBAKAR DONATES ₦2.5M TO ASUG FOR EXTRA-MORAL LESSONS
ABAJI, FCT— The Executive Chairman of Abaji Area Council, Hon. Abubakar Umar Abdullahi, has donated ₦2.5 million to the Abaji Students Union Government (ASUG) to support extra-moral lessons for students and pupils across the council.
ASUG had presented a budget of ₦2.5 million to the Chairman to aid the smooth and successful implementation of the ongoing lessons aimed at boosting academic performance ahead of examinations.
In a remarkable demonstration of his commitment to education and youth development, Hon. Abdullahi approved and released the full amount requested by the student body.
Speaking on the donation, the Chairman said the administration remains determined to invest in education, empower students and pupils, and create better opportunities for the future leaders of Abaji.
“This intervention is not just support for education, it is an investment in the future of Abaji. We believe that when we equip our young people with the right knowledge and resources, we are securing the future of our council,” he stated.
ASUG leadership expressed appreciation to the Chairman for the timely support, noting that the funds will enable them to provide qualified tutors, learning materials, and logistics for the extra-moral classes across schools in Abaji.
They prayed for continued wisdom, protection and resources for the Chairman to do more for the people.
