ABDULAZEEZ: SEN. ADEYEMI CONDOLENCE MESSAGE TO KOGI, GOV. BELLO, EBIRA PEOPLE AND THE NATION

Senator Smart Adeyemi of Kogi West Senatorial district has mourn the death of great medical guru, Dr. Abdulazeez Umar Farooq who died on Wednesday.

Adeyemi in a statement on Thursday shortly after the burial of the late renowned medical practitioner and pharmaceutical manufacturer said late Abdullazeez lived an examplary life and deserves all the good orations that has been flying around about him.

He said, “I personally shares in the pain of loss with family members and friends of Dr. Abdulazeez Umar Farooq, 84, who made history as medical doctor and great entrepreneur.

“Abdulazeez brought pride and honour to Nigeria and was a great mentor to young people expecially the many who enjoyed his scholarship scheme.

“Abdulazeez took me like a son since our path crossed in Ilorin, and I did shared and enjoyed a father -son relationship with him for more than 35 years.

“He was a leader, mentor and community leader whom I tried to emulate his professional and entrepreneurship spirit. It was from him I derived pleasures and cut my teeth in contemporaries issues.

“Late Abdulazeez deserves national honour for his job creation, affordable medical services to Nigerians and setting up of one of the greatest pharmaceutical facility in the history of Nigeria.

“He personified humility, intelligent and hardwork; all towards the lifting of humanity.

“He lived a decent life, he was opened to accountability, and there can not be words enough to described his good nature. He served God and humanity dutifully and diligently.

“I hereby send my condolences to the Royal College of Surgeons’; the family members of late Abdullazeez, and specifically, the governor of our dear Kogi state, Yahaya Bello whom I later learnt that the late Abdullazeez was an uncle to.”

Adeyemi equally prays for the repose of the soul of the father and grandfather, and God’s comfort for the family.
