ABDULGANIYU ABDULLAHI BACKS ZONING AGREEMENT FOR YAGBA EAST STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY SEAT
Hon. Abdulganiyu Abdullahi, has thrown his weight behind the zoning agreement in Yagba East, saying he will not support the current State House of Assembly representative’s bid for a second term.
According to a statement, Hon. Abdullahi emphasized the need to respect the zoning agreement, which stipulates that the seat should rotate to the next zone after four years.
He stressed that adhering to the agreement is crucial for promoting fairness and equity in political representation.
To demonstrate his commitment to the agreement, Hon. Abdullahi promised to mobilize 100 media youths to campaign house-to-house in support of the zoning agreement. He also encouraged individuals from the next zone to express interest and start preparing for the State House of Assembly seat in Kogi State, ensuring a smooth transition.
By backing the zoning agreement, Hon. Abdullahi aims to promote rotational leadership and ensure that all zones have an opportunity to be represented in the State House of Assembly. This development is expected to shape the political landscape in Yagba East and potentially influence the outcome of future elections.
