African Students Hail Emaimo’s Reforms in Dental College

All-African Students’ Union,, the body of all students on African continent, has commended the Rector of the Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy, Enugu, Prof. John Emaimo, for what it described as his sterling performance and unwavering commitment to the development and growth of the institution.

Accompanying the commendation with an Award of Excellent Performance during the recent Students’ Union Week of the College, AASU President, Osisiogu Osikenyi, applauded the exceptional leadership qualities of Prof. Emaimo, saying his dedication to duty and positive impact in the institution since he assumed office has been indelible.

The students’ leader acknowledged the conducive environment the rector has provided for learning as well as the development of students’ leadership skills.

He also poured encomiums on Prof. Emaimo, saying his commitment to youth development has remained unwavering, pointing out the huge values his innovative leadership has added to the College.

He said: “Under your visionary guidance, numerous initiatives have been implemented to enhance the educational experience of students, both academically and holistically. Your emphasis on fostering an inclusive and supportive environment has empowered the students’ body to thrive and excel in our respective fields of study.

“Furthermore, we would like to acknowledge the tremendous support you have provided to the student leadership. Your open-door policy and willingness to listen to our concerns and suggestions have facilitated effective dialogue and collaboration between the administration and the students’ body. “Your encouragement and guidance have played a pivotal role in strengthening our leadership skills and nurturing a sense of responsibility within us.”

Furthermore, AASU president noted that Prof. Emaimo has demonstrated a deep understanding of the challenges faced by students and consequently worked assiduously to address them.

He added, “We pledge our full support to your leadership and join you in your mission to advance the college to even greater heights. We firmly believe that with your continued guidance and the collective efforts of all stakeholders, we can achieve remarkable milestones and become a leading institution in the region.”
