Ajaokuta Federal Lawmaker Donates Hospital Equipment, Launches One-Month Free Medical Outreach
…Says I will never play politics with the health of my people
The House of Representatives member, representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem has donated essential hospital equipment to the newly built Ultra-modern hospital in the Badoko area of Ajaokuta LGA.
This world-class facility is a state owned project, constructed during the administration of His Excellency Gov. Yahaya Bello, but was yet to commence operations.

To facilitate the hospital’s full functionality, the Ajaokuta lawmaker has provided additional essential equipment to complement the existing ones.
The event was attended by a wide array of stakeholders, including political figures, former and current Executive Chairmen of Ajaokuta LGA, monarchs, and other critical stakeholders.
Several speakers praised the lawmaker’s efforts, noting the significant impact of the hospital equipment, valued at millions of naira.
They noted that the rising mortality rate in the area has been largely due to the lack of functional healthcare facilities, and emphasized that the operationalization of the Ultra-modern hospital will help address this critical challenge.
In his remarks, the House of Representatives member expressed gratitude to former Governor Yahaya Bello for his role in establishing a world-class hospital in Ajaokuta.
He also thanked His Excellency Gov. Ahmed Ododo for his continued efforts to ensure the hospital becomes operational.
The Ajaokuta lawmaker also acknowledged the collective contributions of all stakeholders and vow to prioritize the welfare of the doctors stationed at the hospital.
He promised that their working conditions would allow them to serve professionally and passionately for the benefit of the community. I will not play politics with the life of my people. “he stressed.
To conclude his remarks, the lawmaker announced the launching of a one-month free medical outreach programme for all citizens accessing the hospital during this period.
In another development, Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem alongside other stakeholders visited Apaminosi a boundary between Ogigiri and Adogo ward to monitor progress of work and promised adequate security for the Engineers deployed for road constructions by the administration of His Excellency Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo the Executive Gov. of Kogi State.
