Alhaji Maruf Salimonu Congratulates AIG Haruna Olufemi on Promotion
Alhaji Maruf Salimonu, a prominent community leader and aspirant for the Yagba East State Constituency, under the ruling All Progressives Congress has extended his warm congratulations to AIG Haruna Olufemi on his recent promotion to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police.
In a statement, Alhaji Salimonu praised AIG Olufemi’s dedication to duty and his commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism in the Nigeria Police Force.

He noted that the promotion is a testament to Olufemi’s hard work and outstanding service to the nation.

AIG Olufemi, a native of Yagba East Local Government Area, was among the 13 Commissioners of Police promoted to AIG by the Police Service Commission (PSC).
He was previously the Commissioner of Police in Oyo State.
Alhaji Salimonu’s congratulatory message has been welcomed by friends, family, and well-wishers of AIG Olufemi, who have also expressed their own congratulations on the promotion.
