AMAC Supervisory Councillor for Health Pledges Improved Healthcare Delivery

The newly appointed Supervisory Councillor for Health in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Honourable Nuhu Aliyu Usman, has assured residents of the council area of his commitment to ensuring the availability of a functional and sustainable healthcare system, particularly for people living in remote and underserved communities.

According to him, the provision of an effective and enduring healthcare system is fundamentally necessary for building a healthy society and ensuring that quality healthcare services are accessible to all residents, regardless of their social or economic status.
Honourable Nuhu made this commitment during the swearing-in ceremony of members of the executive arm of the Abuja Municipal Area Council, following the inauguration of the new administration.

He commended the Chairman of AMAC, Honourable Christopher Maikalangu, for his political maturity, sportsmanship, and magnanimity in appointing him and other members from opposition political parties despite their affiliation with different political platforms.

The Supervisory Councillor pledged to reciprocate the confidence reposed in him through unwavering commitment, dedication, and diligent service. He assured residents that he would work tirelessly to ensure that the responsibilities and mandate of his office are effectively discharged for the benefit of all people living within the Abuja Municipal Area Council.

Honourable Nuhu also expressed his profound gratitude to his numerous supporters for their steadfast commitment to his political aspirations. He noted that their encouragement and loyalty had remained a source of inspiration and motivation, especially in the face of numerous challenges.

He reaffirmed his determination to justify the trust placed in him and contribute meaningfully to the development of a healthier and more prosperous AMAC.
