Dear Esteemed Leaders,

We, the loyal members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, write to express our unwavering commitment to the party’s principles of fairness, equity, and justice. As we strive to build a stronger, more inclusive party, we humbly bring to your attention a pressing concern regarding the tenure of our state chairman.

Hon. Abdulganiyu Abdullahi, a dedicated APC member, has passionately advocated for term limits, emphasizing that no individual should occupy the position of state chairman for more than 8 years. We echo his sentiments and urge your leadership to uphold the party’s constitution, ensuring that our state chairman serves a maximum of two four-year terms.

This change will not only bring fresh perspectives but also create opportunities for new leaders to emerge, fostering a culture of inclusivity and rejuvenation. We believe it’s time for a new face, one who can reconcile differences, unite our party, and attract new members.

We kindly request that anyone seeking to contest for the APC state chairman position after serving over 8 years be disqualified, ensuring a level playing field for all aspirants. We are committed to supporting a new set of leaders who share our vision for a stronger, more vibrant APC in Kogi State.

Mr. President, Professor Yilwatda, and Governor Ododo, we appeal to your leadership to support this noble cause. Together, we can build a more resilient party, better equipped to serve our great nation and the good people of Kogi State.

We pray that God blesses our party, Nigeria, and guides our leaders as they make decisions that shape our collective future.

Yours sincerely,

Hon. Abdulganiyu Abdullahi.
APC Member, Kogi State.
