APC Aiyetoro – Kiri Ward Congratulates Commander Jerry Omodara, and Hon Wemi Jones on their reappointment, and Barrister Zacchaeus Dare on His Appointment as Caretaker Chairman of Kabba-Bunu LGA,  charges them to harmonise both human and natural resources to optimise the development of the area

The governing All Progressives Congress in Aiyetoro-Kiri Ward has extended their heartfelt congratulations to the reappointed State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara, the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon Wemi Jones and the newly appointed Caretaker Chairmen for Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Barrister Zacchaeus Dare Michael, describing their appointments as well deserved.

In a message signed by the leadership of the party in the ward, Hon. Amupitan Sunday and made available to journalists in Lokoja, they stated their reappointments as a result of their steadfastness and dedication which attracted the incumbent administration to beckon on them to continue the good works.

He noted that though it is a caretaker arrangement for the local government the responsibilities of the office are clear to provide the needed leadership for the overall development of the local government.

He said that Kabba-Bunu is blessed with both human and natural resources, hence he is expected to lead the way in harmonising those resources to optimise the development of the area, stressing that they can jointly achieve much for the people through partnership with the private sector, government agencies, international donors and stakeholders from the local government.

He urged them to make transparency and accountability their watchwords, as they are expected to change the narrative by continually engaging the people to keep them abreast of the situation which will rebuild public confidence in their leadership.

He said protection of lives and properties should also be given adequate attention as it is only in a secure environment that development can thrive, pointing out that as someone who has carved a niche for themselves in both public and private business, it is expected that they bring their wealth of experience to bear in the administration of their various offices.

He also used the medium to congratulate the Secretary of Kabba-Bunu local government, Hon. Omojola Oyenibi on his appointment, prayed that God will grant him the needed wisdom, knowledge, understanding and good health to pilot the affairs of his office.

He commended Governor Ododo Usman for finding them worthy to be appointed, urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them as to whom much is given much is expected, pointing that they should distinguish themselves by not making it business as usual rather they should change it to positive narration.
