During the meeting, the delegation and the Deputy Gubernatorial candidate engaged in in-depth discussions on national development, party unity, and strategies to further strengthen the APC in Kano State and Nigeria at large.

In her remarks, Dr. Mariya Mahmud Bunkure commended Murtala Sule Garo for his consistent support for the youth in Kano State and for his tireless efforts in building bridges of unity across the APC’s structure in the state. She emphasized the importance of collaboration and communication within the party ranks, particularly at the grassroots level.

“We are here to acknowledge the tremendous contributions of His Excellency Murtala Sule Garo, especially in reaching out to the youth and uniting party members across various local governments,” said Dr. Bunkure. “The future of the APC in Kano is bright, and with dedicated leaders like Garo, we are confident of continued success.”

Responding to the delegation, Murtala Sule Garo expressed deep appreciation to the people of Bunkure and the entire APC family for their unwavering support. He urged party members to remain steadfast and united in pursuit of a common goal – the continued growth and success of the APC.

“I am grateful to the people of Bunkure, and I want to assure all APC members that my doors are always open to listen, share ideas, and collaborate on issues that will benefit our communities and the party at large,” Garo said. He also extended special thanks to the Honourable Minister for her active role in strengthening party unity in Kibiya, Bunkure, Rano and surrounding areas.

The visit is seen as a strategic move ahead of upcoming party engagements, reinforcing the commitment of APC leaders to ensure lasting unity and progress across Kano State.
