APC Deputy National Spokesman Hails Customs CG’s Tenure Extension, Citing Confidence in Reforms
The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, has extended warm felicitations to the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Mr. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, MFR, following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s approval of a one-year extension to his tenure.
In a statement released today, Hon. Meseko described the President’s decision as a profound “testimony of the confidence reposed in Mr. Adeniyi’s leadership.” He emphasized that the extension is strategically aimed at enabling the Comptroller General to “consolidate ongoing reforms and complete critical initiatives of the administration.”
