APC Deputy Spokesman, Meseko, Hails Kogi on 34th State Creation Anniversary
The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Government and people of Kogi State on the occasion of the state’s 34th anniversary.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Meseko described the milestone as a testament to the resilience, unity, and developmental strides recorded since the state’s creation on August 27, 1991. He praised the people for their steadfast support for the government and their collective contributions to the peace and progress of the state.
Hon. Meseko also used the occasion to commend the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, for his visionary and transformative leadership. He praised the Governor’s dedication to improving the lives of the people and steering the state towards greatness. “We pray for divine wisdom, health, and strength for Governor Ododo as he continues to strive for a greater Kogi State,” Meseko stated.
“Thirty-four years ago, our dear Kogi State was born, and today, we have every reason to celebrate our journey so far. It has been a path of remarkable growth, despite the challenges we have faced,” Hon. Meseko said. “The people of Kogi have shown incredible strength and a spirit of determination that is truly commendable.”
He specifically commended the state’s leadership for their vision and commitment to governance, which he noted has set Kogi on a trajectory of sustained development. He urged all citizens to continue to work together in harmony to build a state that future generations will be proud of.
Hon. Meseko concluded his message by reaffirming his commitment to the welfare and progress of the people of Kogi State, wishing everyone a happy anniversary and praying for a future of even greater achievements.
