Olorogun Okiemute Oviri Okwagbe, JP, the Eni of Ughwievwen Kingdom a well known PDP Chieftain from from Ughelli South LGA has dismissed the All Progressives Congress (APC) as having no significant political presence in Delta State, asserting that Senator Ovie Omo-Agege should “go and sleep” rather than misleading the people.
Olorogun Okwagbe the Senior Governor Aide in his remarks, lauded the leadership quality of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, describing him as a dynamic and performing governor whose impact is evident across the three senatorial districts of the state. In strong terms, he dismissed Omo-Agege’s political activities as mere rhetoric, branding the former Deputy Senate President a “noise maker” whose influence is rapidly diminishing in the political equation of Delta State.
“Omo-Agege is nothing but a noise maker. His claims are feather weight, his influence is fading by the second, and his political relevance in Delta State is fast eroding. Deltans know this reality and should not be deceived by his crafty gimmicks,” Okwagbe stated.
Olorogun Okiemute Oviri Okwagbe the political bulldozer further emphasized Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to the MORE Agenda, highlighting his administration’s achievements in infrastructure development, social welfare, and economic growth.
“Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is fully on the ground, working tirelessly for Deltans. The difference between a leader who delivers and one who merely talks is clear for all to see,” he added.
Reiterating his stance, Olorogun Okwagbe likened Omo-Agege’s political struggles and approach to that of a “toothless bulldog,” insisting that the APC in Delta State is a party of failed promises and unrealistic ambitions.
“The APC has no bearing in Delta State. Deltans have experienced realistic progress under the PDP and they know very well the stagnation that the APC represents. Omo-Agege should stop misleading the people and accept the historical political dominance of the PDP in Delta State,” he stated.
Highlighting Governor Oborevwori’s widely recognized performance, Olorogun Okwagbe noted that his administration has been implementing impactful policies, earning him prestigious recognitions, like,MR PROJECT, The ThisDay Newspaper and Arise Television Best Governor of the Year Award and the conferment of Honorary doctorate degree on him by the Novena University.
“On the contrary, Omo-Agege’s attempts to position himself as a viable alternative have been exposed as a mere political grandstanding. This is why Governor Sheriff Oborevwori will continue to enjoy overwhelming support from the people, as he remains focused on delivering tangible dividends of democracy to the people under the the instrumentality of the MORE AGENDA.”
According to Okwagbe, as Delta State political landscape evolves, one thing remains certain—the PDP remains firmly in control, while the APC, with its dwindling influence, remains a “greenhorn and a non-starter in Delta.” He asserted that Omo-Agege is fighting political battle which he have already lost, he concluded.
