In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the entire Dabban family and the people of Niger State, Dr. Dabban described the Etsu Nupe as a father figure and mentor to the entire Nupe Kingdom.
The traditional throne, located in Bida, Niger State, has been occupied by the royal father since 2003.
A statement signed by Khadijat Ameen, Public Relations Officer of ARCN, read
“Nupe indigenes lift their voices in gratitude and in solemn choice. For in your strength, we see our part—a future bright, a nation’s heart.”
Dr. Dabban prayed for continued divine blessings upon the royal celebrant
“May God Almighty grant you more—blessings rich and grace in store; health, wisdom, joy without end; a guiding light, our nation’s friend.”
He concluded with prayers for long life, sound health, and greater wisdom for the traditional ruler.
“Your exemplary service, wisdom, and dedication to the Nigerian project continue to strengthen the fabric of our tradition and democracy,” he said.
