AUDU/Faleke Political Family Holds Strategic Meeting with Senator Sunday Karimi Ahead of 2027 Elections
The AUDU/Faleke Political Family held a strategic meeting earlier this morning with Senator Sunday Karimi, representing Kogi West Senatorial District, as part of ongoing efforts to consolidate support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The closed-door meeting brought together key leaders and stakeholders of the political family from across Kogi State. In attendance were Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, Minister of State for Development, Senator Sunday Karimi, Isa Daniel(Prof), Deputy Director of Organizing at the APC National Secretariat, Otunba Niyi Olayemi, a respected stakeholder from Kogi West and Hon. Emmanuel Ekele, a notable stakeholder from Kogi East.
Discussions focused on strengthening unity within the ranks of the political family and mapping out effective strategies to mobilize support across the three senatorial districts of Kogi East, Kogi West and Kogi Central. The leadership emphasized the need for synergy, coordination, and grassroots engagement to ensure that the APC records a resounding victory in 2027.
A key resolution from the meeting was the collective commitment to work towards the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term, alongside all APC candidates at both the national and state levels. The leaders noted that the political climate demands early preparation, sustained voter engagement, and a clear message of continuity, progress, and good governance.
The meeting also acknowledged the pivotal leadership role of Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, leader of the AUDU-Faleke Political Family, whose guidance and commitment continue to provide direction for the group. Appreciation was extended to him and to other stakeholders who have been working tirelessly to ensure that Kogi State remains firmly in the APC column come 2027.
In addition, the leadership called on supporters across the state to remain patient, steadfast and united. They assured members that plans to take the campaign to every community, ward, and local government area are already at an advanced stage, and that the political family is poised to lead a vigorous and well-coordinated mobilization drive in the months ahead.
