As we welcome the month of August 2026, I give all glory and gratitude to Almighty God for His abundant mercy, protection, and faithfulness over our lives. It is by His grace that we have crossed into another month with renewed hope, renewed strength, and renewed determination to continue striving for a better tomorrow.
I warmly felicitate with the good people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, the entire people of Kogi State, and all Nigerians as we embrace this new month. August is not just another page on the calendar; it is another opportunity for reflection, unity, service, and collective action towards building the prosperous society our people truly deserve.
Our constituency is blessed with intelligent youths, hardworking farmers, resilient women, experienced elders, accomplished professionals, and patriotic citizens who have continued to contribute immensely to the growth and development of our land despite numerous challenges. It is this uncommon resilience that gives me confidence that the future of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency remains bright.

Today, more than ever before, our people desire purposeful representation that listens, understands their struggles, and is genuinely committed to delivering lasting solutions. The time has come for leadership that prioritizes the welfare of the people above personal interests, leadership that opens doors of opportunities for young people, empowers women, supports local businesses, strengthens agriculture, improves education, enhances healthcare, and attracts meaningful development to every ward and community.
As someone who believes passionately in the greatness of our constituency, I remain committed to advocating policies and programmes that will transform Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu into a model federal constituency that every citizen will be proud to call home. My vision remains centered on youth empowerment through digital and vocational skills acquisition, employment generation, quality education, improved infrastructure, rural development, economic empowerment, agricultural modernization, enhanced security, and transparent, people-oriented representation.
I call upon our youths not to surrender to hopelessness or despair. You remain the greatest asset of our constituency and the future belongs to you. Continue to embrace education, entrepreneurship, innovation, and lawful means of livelihood. Reject violence, cultism, drug abuse, political thuggery, and every act capable of destroying your future. Together, we can create a constituency where every young person has the opportunity to succeed and contribute meaningfully to society.
To our mothers and women, your sacrifices remain the backbone of our families and communities. Your strength, wisdom, and commitment continue to sustain our homes and our economy. I assure you that your welfare, empowerment, and inclusion in governance will always remain a priority in my vision for a greater Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu.
I equally salute our traditional rulers, religious leaders, community associations, civil servants, artisans, traders, security personnel, and all stakeholders who continue to work tirelessly to preserve peace and stability across our communities. Sustainable development can only flourish in an atmosphere of unity, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence. Let us continue to support one another irrespective of political affiliation, religion, or ethnic background, remembering always that the progress of our constituency is greater than individual interests.
As the political activities ahead gather momentum, I urge everyone to conduct themselves peacefully and responsibly. Elections should never divide brothers and sisters. Politics should be about ideas, service, development, and healthy competition—not bitterness, violence, or hatred. Our democracy becomes stronger when every citizen participates peacefully and responsibly.
