Bandits Attack on Ayere-Kabba Road Leaves One Dead, Many Kidnapped

A devastating attack was carried out by unknown gunmen on motorists on Ayere-Kabba road in Ijumu Local Government Area, resulting in one fatality and multiple kidnappings.

The incident occurred yesterday evening, targeting vehicles traveling between Lagos and Abuja.

According to reports, the kidnappers ambushed vehicles, including two buses with registration numbers MAN 399XA and MAN 425XA.

Three other vehicles and their occupants were abducted, while four injured persons were rushed to the general hospital in Kabba. Unfortunately, one person succumbed to injuries sustained during the attack.

The injured persons receiving treatment at the hospital include: Mercy Avine, Babangida, urajo Babangida and Leonard Amuze.

The occupant in the Boxer vehicle and Toyota Camery car by names, Mohammed Abubakar, Taiye Adeniyi and Taiye Adeniyi were abducted

The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) is currently at the hospital, overseeing the situation.

Efforts are underway to rescue the abducted individuals and restore security in the area. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
