BARBARA ELEOJO JITOBOH FOUNDATION, HONOUR’S KOGI GOVERNOR’S WIFE HAJIYA SEFINAT ODODO WITH AN AWARD AS ADVOCATES FOR PROMOTING WOMEN, YOUTHS AND CHILDREN DEVELOPMENT

Her Excellency Hajiya Sefinat Usman Ahmed Ododo, the esteemed First Lady of Kogi State, has been honored for her outstanding efforts in advancing the development of women, youths, and children. She was presented with an award as an Advocate for these causes by Hon. Chief Mrs. Barbara Eleojo Jitoboh, the founder of the BARBARA ELEOJO JITOBOH FOUNDATION, Convener of the CARE FOR LIFE INITIATIVE AND EMPOWERMENT, and founder of the ONE KOGI PROJECT.

Mrs. Jitoboh commended the First Lady for her unwavering commitment to empowering women and youths, noting that with leaders like Her Excellency, the world is on a path to becoming a better place. This award serves as a timely recognition of the First Lady’s relentless efforts to enhance the lives of women, youths, and children in Kogi State.

During the commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Mrs. Jitoboh and the First Lady emphasized the importance of taking proactive measures to end violence against women and children. This event underscored the urgent need for collective action to address this critical issue.
